'On my own' used to be my least favorite part. But now I think its my favourite part. Just hearing the flutes play melancholic and then the rest of the winds join in 👌. At least the band arrangement cause 'Do You Hear the People Singing' has the righto everyone join in as we sing this anthem vibe

you know that bar before the 'master of the house'? yeah, we look at our conductor and he's smiling because he knows we LOVE this section, and then the tubas come in with their awesome pickup and we're off to another world lol

my honour band played this a couple years ago and i just now listened to it again and it's bringing back so many memories ❤️😭

this song was going to be a part of my first highschool concert till people decided they were too good for practicing and didnt !! it was super frustrating to find out that this piece was getting swapped for a disney song thing. it's fun, yes, and the alto sax solo in the other one is a lot longer than the one here, but UGHHH this piece is LEGENDARY it has me obsessed !

Oh, and this arranger seems to be a big fan of Jule Styne and Alan Jay Lerner--both have at least two songs featured in this medley (albeit with different collaborators)!

Really liked the balance of the band, you can tell they're really good Despite some errors in notes or rhythms, I think they did quite well. You can't deny that it's a difficult song to pull off. and they pulled it off with a lot of emotion and skill too!
